Artist Takeover - An Interactive Showcase from the Festival of Industry - Free

  • Dugdale Arts Centre 39 London Road Enfield, England, EN2 6DS United Kingdom (map)

Join the artists of Enfield for a day of creative exploration as part of the Festival of Industry.

The event will be an interactive and fun experience encompassing arts, performance, creativity and learning as we give you the chance to meet the artists and explore the projects behind the Festival of Industry.

The Festival of Industry is a cultural programme led by Enfield Council and funded by the Arts Council, through which 20 local artists and arts organisations were commissioned to explore Enfield’s industrial past and consider its present and future links to industry. The artists will be taking over the Dugdale Arts Centre to offer a free afternoon of drop-in creative workshops, screenings, exhibitions, performances and more.

Suitable for all ages and abilities, there will be family-friendly arts activities, alongside more adult focussed exhibitions, screenings and creative sessions.

Activities Include:

  • Experience an interactive soundscape of Enfield’s industrial sites from Clang Studios.

  • Design your own tiles and learn about Enfield’s ceramic industries with Doodle Designs

  • Exploring Colour workshops and create your own colour stories with Colour Your City.

  • Experiments in art and drawing including animation by Tiger Monkey UK Ltd.

  • See the exhibition ‘Workers of Tomorrow’ by artists DYSPLA on AI and the future of industries.
